Zebrano is a solid, compact wood marked by streaks varying in colour from beige to brown and red. Zebrano is imported from central/western Africa and is chiefly used for furniture and craft work. It is considered a precious material and in danger of extinction, for which reason its logging is strictly regulated.
Light Walnut is a dark, warm-coloured wood growing mainly in the equatorial forests of Africa and employed for furniture and parquet panelling. Walnut logging is strictly regulated due to its increasingly diminishing presence.
